'Nurse Will Make It Better' has diplomat's daughter 'Charley' (Linda Liles) breaking her back in a horse riding accident and being 'cared' for by warty, devil-worshipping nurse 'Bessy Morne' (Diana Dors) who indoctrinates her, and her younger sister, into the cackling, coke drinking world of eeeevillll. Ranged against them are elder sister 'Ruth' (Andrea Marcovicci), boyfriend 'Simon' (Michael Culver), bodyguard 'Carson' (Ed Bishop - UFO) and Patrick Troughton as the demon hunter 'Lyall'.
Dors is at her late career best here wailing, cackling, shrieking and taunting for all she's worth consumed in her role as the frumpy, malevolently satanic witch, whilst the under-utilised Troughton is previewing his role of 'Father Brennan' from the following years' 'The Omen', but this is very much an ensemble piece and the cast all rise to the occasion to make this a fun slice of Hammery pulp horror brought to the screen by 'Sapphire and Steel' director Shaun O'Riordan.
